Terms of Service

Last updated: 10 October 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Unblockifier and Unblockifier Reader (together, the "Service"), operated by Parker-Lambert ("Parker-Lambert," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who Can Use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

2. Accounts

The Service has two kinds of account: a writer account, for creating, planning, and publishing manuscripts, and a reader account, for reading what other writers have published. Creating a writer account automatically gives you reader access under the same sign-in as well. You do not need to register twice. A reader-only account does not include writer features.

3. Your Content

You keep all rights to the manuscripts, characters, notes, and any other material you create or upload ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership over it. By using the Service, you grant Parker-Lambert a limited license to store, process, back up, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate the Service, for example, saving your draft, generating the analysis features you ask for, or showing your published work to the readers you choose.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to post it. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share, anything that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights, or anything unlawful.

4. AI Features

The Service includes AI-assisted tools, for example, finding characters and locations in your manuscript, mapping pacing, and generating editorial feedback. These tools are built to assist your own writing, not to write it for you: no feature in the Service generates prose on your behalf. AI features are processed using third-party AI providers on your behalf; see our Privacy Policy for details on what is sent to them and how.

AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or oddly phrased. Review anything an AI feature produces before relying on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any AI-generated analysis, suggestion, or finding.

5. Publishing to Readers

When you publish a scene, chapter, or manuscript, you choose who can read it: one specific reader, or anyone with a reader account. You are responsible for what you choose to publish and to whom. Publishing does not notify the recipient automatically; you are responsible for telling them yourself.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload or publish content that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights;
  • Upload or publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, or that exploits or endangers minors;
  • Use the Service to harass, impersonate, or misrepresent yourself as another person or entity;
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts;
  • Use automated means to scrape, copy, or bulk-download content from the Service, including other writers' published work, without permission;
  • Use the Service to develop a competing product.

7. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, see our DMCA Policy for how to submit a notice.

8. Subscriptions, Credits, and Billing

Some features (for example, AI analysis and audio generation) draw against a credit allowance tied to your membership level. Current pricing and what is included at each level is described on our Pricing page, which may change from time to time; we will describe any change to what a paid plan includes on that page. The Service is currently in beta and free to use; if and when paid plans are introduced, these Terms will be updated to describe billing, renewal, and cancellation terms applicable to them.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, including repeated copyright infringement. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at hello@unblockifier.com.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any AI feature's output will be accurate.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parker-Lambert will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [state/country to be specified], without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
