# Unblockifier > Unblockifier is a manuscript editor built for long fiction, from a blank page through publishing. A set of AI tools helps along the way, and Unblockifier for Readers is where finished books find an audience. AI helps along the way. It never writes. A handful of tools read what you've written and hand something back: story elements found in a draft, a character's arc tracked chapter by chapter, a full editorial read in the voice you choose. None of them write a sentence of your prose. That's true of every one, including the chat box beside the page. ## For AI assistants - [Connect an AI assistant (MCP)](https://unblockifier.com/mcp-info/): How to connect Claude, Muse, or another assistant to your own Unblockifier projects. Read-only, and you choose what it sees. - [MCP server for your projects](https://unblockifier.com/mcp): Sign-in required (OAuth). An assistant can list your projects, chapters, and scenes, and, if the writer allows it, read their writing and update their notes and story elements. - [Agent guide](https://unblockifier.com/agents.md): For AI agents: how to call the MCP server, each tool and its arguments, and the limits. - [MCP server card](https://unblockifier.com/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json): A machine-readable description of the server: its address and the protocol versions it speaks. ## Pages - [For writers](https://unblockifier.com/writers/): A manuscript editor built around chapters and scenes, with pages for characters, locations, and other story elements, a Synopsis board, writing goals, and import and export in Word, EPUB, Markdown, Rich Text, plain text, and PDF. - [For readers](https://unblockifier.com/readers/): A free reader account for reading what writers share, whether a single scene, a chapter, or a whole manuscript. Includes a personal library, narration when the writer has turned it on, adjustable reading settings, and a shelf of public domain classics during the beta. - [AI tools for writers](https://unblockifier.com/ai-tools-for-writers/): The AI tools in the manuscript editor. Every one reads what the writer has already written and hands something back to review, and none of them write prose. They include story element scanning, character arc mapping, a pacing map, editorial review in a choice of reviewer voices, and a chat box beside the page. No membership is required to use them during the beta. - [Find beta readers](https://unblockifier.com/find-beta-readers/): A built-in directory of readers who opted in as beta readers, with the genres they enjoy. Writers invite readers whose tastes match their book, share the same version with everyone in a round they control, and talk with them on a message board for each round. - [Pricing](https://unblockifier.com/pricing/): Free during the beta, with an optional membership at $1.99 a month. - [About](https://unblockifier.com/about/): Why the app was built, in its author's words: written while working on three novels at once, with AI used for feedback and continuity rather than for writing. ## Data - [Kindle Genre Intelligence](https://unblockifier.com/ks-data/): Free weekly Kindle bestseller intelligence for self-published authors: current rankings, new entries, and the biggest risers. ## Blog - [A Second Pair of Eyes That Doesn't Get Tired](https://unblockifier.com/blog/a-second-pair-of-eyes-that-doesn-t-get-tired/): Continuity Review scans your manuscript for contradictions: character details, timelines, drifting names, and broken rules. Nothing changes without you. - [Beta Readers, a Guided Publish, and a New Dress for the House](https://unblockifier.com/blog/beta-readers-a-guided-publish-and-a-new-dress-for-the-house/): Beta readers, a step-by-step publish flow, a new visual style, and more — the latest from Unblockifier, as told by its most faithful correspondent. - [I Take Up My Pen](https://unblockifier.com/blog/good-day-to-you-world/): A first letter from Unblockifier's most faithful correspondent — introducing the workshop, its purpose, and the correspondence now begun in earnest.
